I absolutely loved the location for the Sliter family's portraits this year! It was spectacular and we could not have asked for a more calm, beautiful evening at this spot on the river.
The Sliter family are close friends but we don't get to see each other all that often so getting to hang out and adventure with them each year for photos is so meaningful to me. This year we got to explore a different part of their family farm and the fall colors, mountain views, super calm river waters, and unique wildlife were all amazing.
On the drive down to the river I had to get them out for a quick walk in the hay fields to capture those big blue mountain views and let them be a little silly. Then we headed down to the river where we started with photos of a giant bald eagle. I admit I am not much for wildlife photography, I am more of a wild child photographer but it was pretty cool to share the space with him; he was beautiful.
We walked the waters edge, soaked in all the beautiful turning colors and laughed, giggled, and joked our way to sunset. It was a perfect evening with five of my favorite people.
