Happy Happy Birthday Tricia! I am so thankful you were able to have this amazing adventure with your family to celebrate your special day...what a perfect vacation!

Tricia wanted to commemorate their time at Lake Mcdonald Lodge with a family portrait session and I was honored to help. We opted for a morning session on the lake shore to dodge possible thunderstorms reported for the evening time, and to accommodate the kiddos since it stays light so very late here in Montana right now. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect morning.... the early morning fog provided a great filter for the sun giving us the most beautiful light. Then, the fog burned away to show off our spectacular mountain views from the lodge. It was a beautiful way to start the day.
